About
EICA is home to Europe's largest indoor climbing arena, featuring internationally certified speed walls and competition style boulders, which sit beside the competition lead wall that hosted the IFSC Climbing World Cup in 2022. There are also two separate bouldering rooms, including the new Bouldering Zone installed in Spring 2025. Alongside the world-class climbing facilities there's a fully equipped gym and studio space for a range of fitness and gym classes. Ratho is also home to one of Edinburgh Leisure's three soft play venues, Scrambles Soft Play, as well as Clip n Climb. Drop into the on-site Cafe Refresh for hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and treats. The venue provides extensive on-site car parking.
