About
Waterford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is a Chartered Physiotherapy and sports injury clinic with locations in Waterford and Dungarvan, founded by Peter Keane. With over 17 years of expertise, the clinic assesses, diagnoses, treats, and rehabilitates musculoskeletal injuries and conditions accurately and promptly, with appointments typically available within 24 to 48 hours. Every session is one-to-one with a Chartered Physiotherapist, and each client is treated individually, guided through customised therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, stability, range of motion, balance, and overall performance. Peter is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, CORU registered, and brings 20 years of senior HSE experience along with extensive postgraduate certification in sports medicine, dry needling, and the Graston Technique, having treated high-performance and international athletes. The clinic offers a specialist Hi-Tech Foot Clinic with 3D analysis and prescription orthotics, works closely with local sports teams, and welcomes clients of all ages, no doctor's referral needed, with treatments recognised by all major insurance companies and tax deductible via Med-1.
